My mixed metal and torch fired enamel jewelry is made for any and every wild heart out there. Each earthy, rustic beauty has its own unique character, just like its wearer, and will proudly bear marks of being handcrafted. All pieces are designed and made solely by me to be your "Go To" jewelry for every day and any occasion.  Whether you are adventuring, roadtripping, celebrating or couch potatoing, my hope is you will choose your EMW jewelry to accompany you.

I have been a Mainer all my life, even making my way back to the house I grew up in.  This woodsy retreat is home base for Earth Metalworks. My studio in the woods is surrounded by tall pines, star filled skies, and an abundance of wildlife. Deer, fox, hawks and coyotes are right out my back door while being just a few miles from the ocean. I walk the beach almost daily, breathing in the salt air and always keeping an eye out for my seal friends and various sea birds. Mother Nature gifts us with some of the best inspiration.

Thank you for visiting!

Glynis Dixon

I am a native of the coast of Maine. I have always lived a creative life. With the inspiration of my mother and grandmother, who were both painters of fine art, I too chose painting first. Not on canvas like my mother and grandmother. I painted furniture and murals, both commercial and residential, and later added floorcloths into the mix. It was fun but I still felt like I was in search of something to really light my creative fire. In 2010, this journey led me to MECA in Portland, ME, to take a metalsmithing class. I wanted to find ways to use the sea glass and beach stone I had been collecting since I was a young girl. I had no idea this would change my life forever. It was here, in the 3 hours of my first class, that the fire was lit! Now, years later, it is full steam ahead as a full time metalsmith and I have never looked back. I love metals and will continue to evolve and challenge myself. Today, I live on the seacoast with my family, never having wandered far from the rocky shores of Maine.

All pieces are handcrafted by me one at a time. They may vary slightly in appearance and measurement.
Sea glass & beach stone pieces are one of a kind. I will come as close to the colors and size as possible. Each piece will be unique to you
